Leeds GATE is seeking a Community Development Worker to support Gypsy and Traveller communities across Calderdale & Wakefield. You will build trusted relationships with residents and families, run group activities and campaigns, and help develop opportunities to share ideas and improve wellbeing.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, equality, and staff values, with a pro-active approach to outreach and engagement across two areas.

Responsibilities

• Work across Wakefield and Calderdale building relationships with Leeds GATE members, residents and families on local authority sites, yards, houses and roadside.
