Job summary

Making Space is seeking an experienced Community Services Lead to manage and develop services within the Community Division across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Yorkshire and Cambridgeshire. The role is home-based with frequent travel; access to your own transport is essential.

You will lead Service Managers and Team Leaders, build relationships with commissioners and stakeholders, and contribute to winning new business while ensuring high-quality outcomes for those we support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in health & social care, such as a carers centre or mental health service.
• Experience managing budgets, reporting outcomes and meeting targets.
• Management NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for strategic and operational management of services in the Community Division.
• Lead, manage and motivate Service Managers and Team Leaders to achieve outcomes.
• Build relationships with commissioners, partners and stakeholders and support business development.
