Job summary

Four Seasons Hampshire is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of high-quality dishes while developing your skills across kitchen sections.

Working closely with the Chef de Partie and Head Chef, you will help maintain food quality, hygiene and service efficiency in a supportive, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes in line with recipes and standards.
• Support senior chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Prepare ingredients and mise en place for service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and portion control.
• Ensure kitchen areas and equipment are kept clean and hygienic.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage and deliveries.
• Collaborate with colleagues across kitchen sections.
• Learn new culinary techniques under experienced chefs.
• Contribute to a fast-paced and professional kitchen environment.
