The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our vibrant Kitchen Team. You will support our chefs in preparing and delivering exceptional dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation during F&B operations.

This role offers 40 hours per week in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with opportunities to develop culinary skills within a leading luxury hotel and access to a comprehensive benefits package including complimentary meals and staff

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or similar kitchen environment.
• Passion for food and desire to develop culinary skills.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in preparing and cooking items according to recipes.
• Prepare mise en place for service.
• Keep kitchen workstations clean and organized.
• Ensure tasks meet food safety and health regulations.
• Receive deliveries and check ingredients.
• Support kitchen during busy service to ensure smooth operations.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
