Marston's PLC in Higham is seeking a Commis Chef to join our busy pub kitchen. Prep, cook and bring our menu to life while developing skills and progressing along our internal DNA pathway towards Sous Chef. The role offers part-time, reliable hours with a supportive team in a lively environment.

You will work in a team to deliver great, hot food to spec, learning kitchen areas and procedures while contributing to smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as a KP in a kitchen.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec.

Responsibilities

• Assist in prep and cooking to bring pub menu to life.
• Learn prepping skills, handle a section of the kitchen.
• Support daily kitchen running and ensure food is to spec.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality meals consistently.
