Job summary

Marston’s PLC is looking for a Commis Chef to join our team in a vibrant pub setting. You’ll prep, learn, and bring the menu to life, owning a section of the kitchen and growing your skills through our internal DNA pathway toward Sous Chef.

You’ll work in a supportive team, delivering great, hot food to spec in a fast-paced environment, with real opportunities to advance and develop your career within a well-loved pub company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Willing to learn kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with day-to-day running.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep and create dishes to bring our pub menu to life.
• Learn and apply kitchen procedures and areas as directed.
• Work with the team to run the kitchen smoothly and efficiently.
• Support the kitchen to ensure meals are served hot and to spec.
• Grow within the internal career pathway towards Sous Chef.
