Hawksmoor Spitalfields is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join a professional kitchen team. You will learn across sections, assist senior chefs, and contribute to high standards of food quality and presentation in a hands-on role.

Develop skills in open-fire cooking, maintain strict hygiene and safety, and support smooth kitchen operations. Training provided, with clear progression opportunities within Hawksmoor.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential; full training provided.
• Knowledge of open-fire cooking techniques is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with mise en place across sections
• Support Chef de Partie and Senior Chefs during service
• Cook dishes to Hawksmoor standards under supervision
• Maintain high levels of food safety, hygiene and organisation
• Learn open-fire cooking techniques and quality produce preparation
• Contribute to smooth, efficient kitchen operations
