BaxterStorey UK is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef in Oxford to support the kitchen team with precise food preparation, station management, and consistent quality control during busy service. You will follow recipes, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef
• Knowledge of some cooking techniques and cuisines
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsabilités

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes per head chef's recipes and standards
• Station Management – oversee production at your station and keep area stocked and clean
• Quality Control – maintain high quality and presentation of all dishes
• Team Collaboration – communicate with team and support colleagues
• Cleaning and Maintenance – ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment in good order
