BaxterStorey is hiring a Commis Chef to take ownership of a designated station and work with the culinary team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes. You will demonstrate technical skill, attention to detail and a genuine passion for food and service, contributing to a positive team environment.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays in a high-volume kitchen, with ongoing training and development to support your career growth within BaxterStorey.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in a similar role within contract catering or educational institution preferred.
• Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsabilidades

• Manage your assigned station with responsibility for food prep, cooking and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation across dishes.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare mise en place and keep a clean, organized station during service.
• Contribute to menu planning and stay current with culinary techniques.
