Active Hospitality in Buckingham is looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will assist the kitchen team with preparation and cooking to high standards, learn from senior chefs and gain experience across a variety of dishes, menus and events.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the kitchen team with the preparation and cooking of dishes to the required standards.
• Preparing fresh ingredients and ensuring all food is prepared consistently and presented to a high standard.
• Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety at all times.
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Ensuring food is stored correctly and stock is rotated in line with food safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods, including restaurant service, events and functions.
• Following recipes, portion control guidelines and instructions from senior chefs.
