Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Commis Chef to join our busy Manchester hotel kitchen. You will work with a team to prepare and cook dishes to menu specifications, supporting senior chefs and ensuring quality and presentation.

You will maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards while working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Passion for exceptional guest experience and adherence to brand standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commis Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment and food safety regulations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a range of dishes to menu specifications as part of a kitchen team.
• Assist senior chefs with food preparation and ensure high quality and presentation of all dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas, following all food safety regulations and health guidelines.
