Job summary

The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Commis Chef with a passion for service excellence. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support the team in delivering memorable experiences for our city guests.

You will work to maintain the AA Rosette standards, contribute to food preparation for all service areas, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure exceptionally high service levels across the hotel.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation skills.
• Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
• Ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
• A good command of English is essential; a second language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the preparation of food for all service areas per the standards indicated by the Head Chef
• Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities
• Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt and efficient manner
• Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences
• Assist the Head Chef in the promotion and management of the criteria for the AA Rosette Standards throughout all required areas
