Job summary

The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Commis Chef to join our kitchen team, reporting to the Head Chef and supporting high standards of guest experiences. You will prepare food for all service areas, show knowledge of our products, ensure prompt and efficient service, and work closely with colleagues to deliver memorable moments.

English fluency is essential; a second language is advantageous, with on-the-job training and staff incentives

The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Commis Chef with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Head Chef, supporting/working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.

The Commis Chef will:

• Be responsible for the preparation of food for all service areas per the standards indicated by the Head Chef
• Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities
• Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt and efficient manner
• Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences
• Assist the Head Chef in the promotion and management of the criteria for the AA Rosette Standards throughout all required areas

To be successful in the role of Commis Chef, we require:

• Excellent organisation skills

• The ability to communicate and organize yourself in line with different guest expectations
