Job summary

Marston's PLC in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a Commis Chef to join our welcoming pub kitchen. You’ll prep, cook and bring our pub menu to life, learning the ropes in a busy, team-focused environment.

We value a passion for food, willingness to learn, and a drive to deliver great hot dishes to spec. This is a part-time, on-site role with real opportunities to grow through our training pathways and apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day running and expectations.

Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. Got a passion for food? You'll fit right in. From learning new prepping skills, bringing a meal to life for the first time, to owning a section of the kitchen.
As Commis Chef: There's plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.
