Job summary

Marston’s PLC in Torquay is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team. You’ll help prep, bring our pub menu to life, learn new skills and own a section of the kitchen as you grow your career.

You’ll work in a friendly, fast-paced environment and deliver great, hot food to spec. We support your development through our internal career pathway and apprenticeships, with flexible hours and real benefits to reward your commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as KP.
• Willingness to learn kitchen areas and procedures.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day running.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen prep and food preparation.
• Support kitchen team with day-to-day running.
• Ensure menu items are cooked to spec and presented well.
