Job summary

The Mitre in Shaftesbury, part of Young’s Pubs, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant or Commis Chef with flexible hours and a clear path to progress in our career ladder, working with fresh seasonal produce and a welcoming team.

You will join a busy kitchen, contribute to daily prep, maintain high standards of Food Safety and quality, and take part in our apprenticeship scheme and masterclasses to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Commis Chef or Kitchen Porter looking to step up
• Passion for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

The Mitre in Shaftesbury is a beautiful country pub set on the high street near the wonderful Gold Hill. It is a 'Best of British' pub serving the very best seasonal fresh produce as well as some fantastic ales & fine wines, all served with a fabulous view of The Blackmore Vale.
