Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub team and help prep, create and bring our menu to life. You’ll learn new skills and may own a section of the kitchen as you grow your career.

Work in a fast-paced, friendly environment with a clear pathway toward Sous Chef. Benefits include staff discounts, flexible hours, meal deal, and apprenticeships to support your progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Knowledge of kitchen areas and procedures or willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Assist with day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Own a section of the kitchen and manage prep as needed.
• Learn new prepping skills and contribute to menu development.

As Commis Chef:

There’s plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.
