Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team in a lively pub environment. You will prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, learning new skills as you grow your career and potentially move toward Sous Chef.

We value teamwork and a passion for delivering hot, high‑quality food to spec. Flexible hours and a supportive, people‑focused company culture help you balance work with life and education.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast paced environment.
• Support the kitchen team with day to day running of the kitchen.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring the pub menu to life.
• Help manage daily kitchen operations and workflow.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and HACCP standards.
• Assist in training and development through the internal pathway.
