Job summary

SSP is hiring a Commis Chef at Stansted Airport, Camden Bar & Kitchen. The role is full-time with fully flexible shifts and includes a night-shift incentive. You will work to spec, measure portions, and maintain a clean, compliant kitchen.

We offer training, development programs and uniforms, with opportunities to progress in a bustling hospitality environment across major brands. Excellent team spirit and energy are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ambitious and a team player aiming to progress in culinary career.
• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
• Must be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
• Previous kitchen experience is desirable; uniform and equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Accurate cooking and presentation to spec.
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
• Keep your workstation clean and organised.
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

COMMIS CHEF - STANSTED AIRPORT, CAMDEN BAR & KITCHEN

We have Full Time Fully Flex roles available!

Pay Rate: £14.16 per hour + As a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to £15.26 per hour. We also offer additional service charge. There is no contractual entitlement to be considered for a distribution of the tips within your role.

Hours of operation are 2am and 10pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays. We pride ourselves on ensuring a great work/life balance, with days off together where possible and no split shifts.
