Job summary

SSP is hiring a Chef de Partie at Stansted Airport's Camden Bar & Kitchen. The role requires previous kitchen experience and involves leading fast-paced shifts from 2am to 11pm. Pay is £15.60/hour, with a £1.50/hour night incentive, totaling £17.10/hour for eligible hours.

Flexibility across weekdays, weekends and holidays is expected. SSP partners with big brands to deliver fast, fresh, feel-good food in busy locations, offering development programs and staff perks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the kitchen to deliver fast, high-quality dishes.
• Assist with admin for the kitchen, including food hygiene records, stocktakes, wastage sheets and cleanliness records.
• Support the Manager in recruitment, induction and retention of the Kitchen Team.
• Maintain the highest culinary standards while delivering excellence in every dish.

CHEF de PARTIE - STANSTED AIRPORT, CAMDEN BAR & KITCHEN

Please note previous kitchen experience is required.

Pay Rate: £15.60 per hour. + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6AM, bringing your rate of pay to £17.10 per hour.

Hours of operation: 2am to 11pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

ABOUT YOU

• You thrive under pressure, love a challenge, and can rally a kitchen behind you.
• A hands-on chef who keeps cool, stays positive, and leads by example.
• Due to some responsibilities within theChef de Partierole, applicants willneed to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
• Lead and supervise the kitchen.
• Assist with all administration for the kitchen, ensuring that it is completed according to all deadlines, including food hygiene records, stocktakes, wastage sheets and cleanliness records.
• Support the Manager in the recruitment, induction and retention of the Kitchen Team.
• Maintain the highest culinary standards whilst delivering excellence in every dish.
• At Least one years’ experience in a similar high-volume kitchen role is desirable.
