Qualifications

• Experience underwriting Commercial Property Owners insurance.
• Strong ability to analyse risk information including property values, construction details, and claims history.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with brokers.
• Detail-oriented, commercially aware and decisive in decision making.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial property risks, including residential and commercial landlords, mixed occupancy properties, and high-value portfolios.
• Assess new business, renewals, and policy amendments, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Build strong relationships with brokers, negotiating terms and pricing to secure profitable business.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and take corrective action to meet growth and profitability targets.
• Support broker development initiatives and contribute to product development and underwriting strategies.
