Qualifications

Experience underwriting Commercial Property Owners insurance.
Strong ability to analyse risk information including property values, construction details, and claims history.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with brokers.
Detail-oriented, commercially aware and decisive in decision making.

Responsibilities

Underwrite commercial property risks, including residential and commercial landlords, mixed occupancy properties, and high-value portfolios.
Assess new business, renewals, and policy amendments, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.
Build strong relationships with brokers, negotiating terms and pricing to secure profitable business.
Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and take corrective action to meet growth and profitability targets.
Support broker development initiatives and contribute to product development and underwriting strategies.
