Job summary

Aviva is seeking an experienced Property Underwriter to join the Global Corporate & Specialty team in London. You will underwrite UK and multinational property risks, collaborating with brokers, clients and colleagues to deliver tailored insurance solutions.

You’ll drive growth of our UK and multinational portfolio, nurture strong relationships, make sound underwriting decisions and contribute to the team’s strategy and development.

Qualifications

• Underwriting UK and Multinational Corporate Property in London Market.
• Ability to structure international programmes and bespoke wordings.
• Strong relationships and negotiation with brokers/clients.
• Experience coaching or developing junior colleagues.
• Commercial awareness and commitment to high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex property risks for the UK and multinational portfolio.
• Build broker and client relationships to support growth.
• Support development of colleagues and deliver the team’s strategy and business plan.
• Make sound underwriting decisions to maintain portfolio performance.
