Gallagher is recruiting an Underwriter to join our Real Estate team in Chichester. You will assess and underwrite a diverse portfolio of Real Estate risks, collaborating with brokers and colleagues to deliver exceptional service.

This role offers a supportive, forward-thinking environment, opportunities to develop underwriting expertise, build client relationships, and progress toward professional qualifications such as the CII.

Qualifications

• Previous underwriting experience within Property/Real Estate lines.
• Strong risk assessment and policy coverage knowledge.
• Ability to build relationships with brokers, insurers and clients.
• Commercial mindset with portfolio growth awareness.
• Eligible to work in the UK and willing to study for qualifications (CII).

Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite Real Estate risks in line with guidelines.
• Issue policies, endorsements, renewals and maintain records.
• Develop Real Estate portfolio by identifying opportunities and renewals.
• Collaborate with brokers and stakeholders to deliver service.
