Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to join the property department of an award-winning regional law firm in Liverpool, Merseyside.

This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of up to £50,000 per annum dependent on experience, with hybrid working after probation. The firm handles a varied caseload across commercial property, residential conveyancing and landlord and tenant matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified as Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or conveyancing‑accredited Chartered Legal Executive with ≥3 years PQE.
• Experience handling both commercial and residential property caseloads.
• Familiar with case management systems and property portals.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and residential property transactions, including leases.

Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to join the property department of an award-winning regional law firm in Liverpool, Merseyside. This full‑time, permanent job offers a salary of up to £50,000 per annum dependent on experience. The varied caseload encompasses commercial property, residential conveyancing and landlord and tenant matters. The firm welcomes applications from qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers and conveyancing‑accredited Chartered Legal Executives with at least three years' post‑qualification experience. In addition, benefits include hybrid working following successful completion of probation, 24 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, an additional day off for your birthday, Medicash and life assurance.

Role Responsibilities

As the Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer, you will manage a diverse property caseload and provide practical advice to private individuals and commercial clients, supported by an established property team. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

• Managing commercial and residential property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and leases.
• Advising landlords, tenants, developers and investors on property matters, including landlord and tenant disputes.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, tenancy agreements and other property documentation.
• Undertaking due diligence and advising clients throughout property transactions.
• Ensuring property files and transactions comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Building strong working relationships with clients, agents and other professional contacts.

Skills and Experience Required

The firm is looking for a Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer who is confident handling both transactional work and landlord and tenant matters. You should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or conveyancing‑accredited Chartered Legal Executive, with at least three years' relevant post‑qualification experience.
• Experience managing a varied commercial and residential property caseload, including leases and landlord and tenant disputes.
• Good working knowledge of case management systems, Laserforms and the HM Land Registry portal.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and client relationship management skills.
• The ability to manage deadlines independently while working collaboratively with colleagues.
• Experience using InfoTrack or working within a CQS‑accredited practice would be advantageous.
• Experience of high‑value property transactions, complex landlord and tenant matters, planning, development or property finance would also be beneficial.
