Job summary

Bydand Recruitment Group is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor in Liverpool to join an established Real Estate team. The role targets associates with strong commercial property experience handling diverse transactions and tenant/landlord matters.

You will contribute to business development, supervise junior lawyers, and help strengthen the firm’s real estate offering while relocating to Liverpool if needed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Commercial Real Estate.
• Experience handling a broad range of transactional property matters with independence and team collaboration.
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills, plus networking interest.

Responsibilities

• Advise on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property.
• Lead sale and leaseback transactions.
• Advise on landlord and tenant matters for landlords and tenants.
• Negotiate leases and prepare ancillary documentation.
• Support cross-practice transactions including corporate M&A.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to BD initiatives.

• Ideal experience: Sound commercial property experience gained in a reputable real estate team. Experience of real estate acquisitions / disposals and landlord / tenant work

You will become part of an established Real Estate team advising a diverse client base including developers, investors, occupiers and lenders across a wide range of commercial property transactions.

The role offers exposure to:

• Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
• Sale and leaseback transactions
• Landlord and tenant matters, acting for both landlords and tenants
• Lease negotiations and ancillary documentation
• Development site acquisitions and disposals
• Development agreements
• Property portfolio management work
• Title review, reporting and due diligence
• Heads of terms negotiations
• Cross-practice transactions including supporting on corporate M&A work

You will also play an important role in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers while contributing to business development initiatives and helping to further strengthen the firm's real estate offering.
