Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement a structured sales strategy and approaches that support sales performance and are reproducible across a growing sales team.
- Sales management: Personally deliver on sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: Represent clients in internal discussions to enhance the commercial performance of products.
- Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
- Client management: Manage key accounts and oversee rebook meetings, ensuring objectives are met.
- Commercial analysis: Analyze marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to design and implement sales strategies leveraging team intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within B2B events/media, with high-value solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets and perceived as a high performer.
- Product experience: Sold live events, digital products, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques and training experience is a plus.
- Strategy: Experience in developing sales plans and contributing to business strategies.
