Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: To review and implement a structured sales strategy and approaches that support sales performance, reproducible across a growing sales team.
- Sales management: To personally deliver on sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: To represent our clients in internal discussions, enhancing the commercial performance of our products.
- Direct sales: To lead sales campaigns.
- Client management: To oversee management of key accounts and ensure objectives are met; manage rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: To analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: To collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to design and implement sales strategies leveraging business intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role at a B2B events/media business, with high-value B2B solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets; perceived as a high performer.
- Product sales experience: Live events, digital products like webinars or reports, large B2B events, sponsorship, and exhibition sales.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of different selling styles and techniques; experience in training sales professionals.
- Strategy: Experience in developing and executing sales plans and contributing to business strategy.
