Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement structured sales strategies to support sales performance, reproducible across the sales team as the business grows.
- Sales management: Deliver on sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: Represent clients in internal discussions to enhance product performance.
- Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
- Client management: Manage key accounts and oversee rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: Analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop sales strategies leveraging team-generated business intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within B2B events/media, with high-value B2B solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets, perceived as a high performer.
- Product experience: Experience selling live events, digital products (webinars, reports), large B2B events, sponsorship, and exhibition booths.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques, experience in training sales teams a plus.
- Strategy: Experience in building sales plans and contributing to business strategy.
