Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial performance of a portfolio of Capital works contracts and to coach a team of Surveyors. You will balance commercial excellence with people development, while partnering with operations to deliver outcomes for customers and communities.

The role requires strong contractual expertise and a track record of influencing stakeholders, with a people-first leadership approach in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

• Experience in a Commercial Manager or senior leadership role.
• Strong commercial and contractual expertise.
• Proven coaching and development of Surveyors.
• Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial performance of a portfolio of Capital works contracts.
• Develop and mentor Surveyors, building a high-performing team.
• Provide commercial insight to drive decision-making, manage risk and maximise opportunities.
• Partner with operational teams to deliver excellent outcomes for customers and communities.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Champion continuous improvement and growth of the commercial function.
