Ian Williams Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial performance of a portfolio of Capital works contracts and to mentor a team of Surveyors.

You'll influence operational leaders, build strong client relationships and drive risk management, commercial excellence and growth across the business, while shaping the future of our commercial function within a people-first company.

As our Capital Product continues to grow across the South East, we're looking for a commercially driven leader to help shape our future success.

You'll lead the commercial performance of a portfolio of planned investment and refurbishment contracts while coaching and developing a team of Surveyors. Working closely with operational leaders and customers, you'll create the right balance between commercial excellence, strong relationships and people development.

What will you bring as our Commercial Manager?

You’ll be someone who leads through influence, collaboration and credibility, building strong relationships and creating an environment where Surveyors can thrive. Detail-driven and commercially minded, you’ll balance strategic thinking with the ability to challenge, coach and support others to achieve their best.

You’ll bring:

• Experience in a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial leadership role.
• Strong commercial and contractual expertise, with a keen eye for detail and performance.
• A track record of coaching, mentoring and developing Surveyors and commercial talent.
• The ability to build trust, influence stakeholders and drive positive outcomes.
• A collaborative, people-first approach to leadership.
• Experience within social housing, refurbishment, construction, property services or a related sector would be advantageous.
