Job summary

Southern Water in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Commercial Manager for Major Projects. You will support the delivery of strategically important infrastructure projects across the Major Projects portfolio, working with finance, legal, regulatory and technical teams to implement commercial strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management, project finance, infrastructure procurement or related discipline.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure or capital investment projects.
• Strong ability to analyse commercial, contractual and financial information.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across disciplines and organisations.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of competitively procured and privately financed infrastructure solutions.
• Develop commercial and contractual arrangements that allocate risk and incentivise performance.
• Assist with procurement processes, commercial evaluations and bidder engagement.
• Analyse financial and commercial data to support investment decisions and business cases.
• Provide recommendations to support governance and decision-making.
• Build relationships with investors, delivery partners, advisers, regulators and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practice across Major Projects.
