Commercial Lawyer - 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Public Sector Organisation - Wales (Remote Working)
Salary: £58,918 per annum

Are you an experienced commercial lawyer looking to make a meaningful impact in the public sector? I am seeking a skilled and motivated legal professional to join the team of a well regarded public sector organisation on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension up to 24 months.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and purpose-driven public sector organisation based in Wales. The role offers the flexibility of remote working and the chance to work on high-impact projects that support economic and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiation, drafting, interpretation and enforcement of commercial agreements and grants
  • Structuring and advising on debt and/or equity financing and investment
  • Preparation and enforcement of security documentation related to grant, debt, and equity funding
  • Advice on company law and corporate governance
  • Structuring and supporting public/private partnerships and joint ventures
About You

You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience in the areas listed above. Experience in the public sector or with public-private collaboration is desirable but not essential. You will be a confident communicator with strong drafting skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
