Branta Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover a portfolio of commercial sites across the M4 Corridor. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, diagnostics, and ensuring all gas systems remain safe and compliant.

You'll work with an established team across offices, education, healthcare, retail and light industrial environments, with a local patch and sensible travel. On‑call duties provide enhanced rates and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Essential Commercial ACS: COCN1/CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A (or TPCP1).
• Desirable: CCN1, LPG (CLP1), COMCAT, OFTEC (if dual‑fuel).
• Strong background in commercial gas maintenance and compliance documentation.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Work on commercial boilers, burners, warm air units, radiant tubes and related plant.
• Complete gas safety checks, testing and certification.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
• Support wider building services teams when required.
• Participate in the on‑call rota (enhanced rates apply).

Sites include offices, education, healthcare, retail and light industrial environments. Note you will be part of an established team and assigmed a local patch with travel kept sensible
