JAM Recruitment Ltd seeks a Commercial Gas Engineer for a mobile patch role across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire, extending along the M40 to Birmingham. This permanent, full-time position offers £55,000–£60,000 depending on experience.

You will service and repair commercial gas systems, diagnose faults, and perform minor installations across hospitality, retail and light commercial sites, upholding safety standards and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance and repair.
• Valid commercial gas and Domestic qualifications (CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1A) – essential.
• Additional LPG qualifications – advantageous; F-Gas or AC experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial gas systems (boilers, heaters, plant rooms, etc.)
• Fault-finding and diagnostics
• Occasional minor installation works
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety and compliance standards
• Keep accurate records using PDA and company systems
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the company on-site
• Participate in the 1-in-4 call-out rota

The Commercial Gas Engineer position in Buckinghamshire offers a permanent, full-time contract with a salary between £55,000 and £60,000, dependent on experience. This mobile role covers a defined patch spanning Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire, extending along the M40 corridor to Birmingham. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and perform minor installations on commercial gas appliances across hospitality, retail, and light commercial sites. What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance and repair
• Valid commercial gas and Domestic qualifications (CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1A) – essential
• Additional LPG qualifications – advantageous
• F-Gas or AC experience – beneficial but not required
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary and Package

£55,000 – £60,000 basic (depending on experience and skill level)

• Paid travel beyond 1 hour at 1.5x rate
