Job summary

Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team covering Essex and surrounding areas. This permanent role focuses on premium commercial contracts, including MOD sites and private schools, with realistic workloads and a healthy work-life balance.

You will service, maintain, and fault-find commercial heating systems, complete reports, and ensure compliance and safety. A van for personal use is provided, along with benefits and pension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer
• Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (ACS)
• Experience servicing and maintaining commercial heating systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
• Servicing, fault finding, and repairing commercial heating plant and associated equipment
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
• Completing all relevant service reports and compliance documentation
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients on site
