Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join the Midlands-based team. The role covers service, maintenance, fault finding and installations across hospital and large commercial sites.

You will manage PPMs, respond to reactive issues, complete required paperwork, and ensure safety and compliance. A valid Commercial ACS Gas qualification and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial ACS Gas qualifications.
• Experience working on commercial heating systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Commercial Gas/Heating engineering experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial gas and heating systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on commercial heating equipment.
• Complete commercial gas installations and small works.
• Work across a variety of commercial sites, including hospitals and shopping centres.
• Complete required paperwork and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and to the required standards.

Commercial Gas Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Location: Midlands

Permanent | Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team covering the Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer with strong commercial experience to work across a varied portfolio of sites, including hospitals, shopping centres and other large commercial properties.

The role will involve a mixture of service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installations and PPMs, as well as supporting small works and projects valued up to £2 million.

Key Responsibilities
