Job summary

Marsh Commercial in Skipton seeks an experienced Team Leader to manage a team of Client Advisors and own the renewal process for a commercial portfolio. You will work with Client Executives, brokers, and insurers to deliver first-class service and strategic insights.

You will contribute to leadership discussions, mentor colleagues, and help shape client solutions while ensuring delivery against targets. A Cert CII or ACII is desirable, with strong MS Office skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience with mid-market to large commercial accounts.
• Proven experience in account handling and client service.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple issues.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and development of a team of Client Advisors.
• Participate in leadership meetings to shape strategy, service and growth.
• Mentor colleagues and support career development.
• Support Head of Office in achieving strategic goals.
• Represent the business in national forums and deliver strategic/operational results.
• Liaise with Marsh Client Executives/brokers on placement strategy for renewals.
• Prepare and submit market presentations and slips with the Client Executive.
• Negotiate terms with incumbent and prospective insurers.
• Prepare client renewal reports and analyses.
• Aim to deliver best-practice, market-leading service.
