Job summary

Marsh Commercial is hiring a Senior Client Advisor based in Skipton or Harrogate. You will support Client Executives with renewal strategy and mid-term changes for a diverse commercial client portfolio.

You will review underwriting information, collate market presentations, and negotiate renewal terms using Marsh systems. This role emphasizes strong client service, teamwork, and professional development within a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing full renewal processes for commercial insurance programmes.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to understand clients’ businesses, insurance needs and service expectations.
• Experience handling complex client needs and supporting technical queries.

Responsibilities

• Support Client Executives with placement strategy for renewals and mid-term changes.
• Review underwriting information for commercial clients and interpret it for teams.
• Prepare and submit market presentations and slips with Client Executives and Placement Team.
• Use Marsh online trading systems to negotiate renewal terms with insurers.
• Prepare client reports for renewals in collaboration with internal teams.
• Comment on indemnity and insurance clauses and produce required insurer documentation.
• Act as senior point of contact for complex queries and guide colleagues.
• Contribute to a high-performing, client-focused culture and support staff development.
