Job summary

Marsh Commercial is seeking a Senior Client Advisor to join the team in Harrogate or Skipton. The role focuses on managing renewals, coordinating with Client Executives, and delivering excellent service to a diverse commercial portfolio.

You will interpret underwriting information, prepare market submissions, and negotiate terms using Marsh systems. A Cert CII is preferred, with ACII progress desirable, and a strong client‑facing approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing the full renewal process for commercial insurance programmes.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good awareness of clients’ businesses, insurance requirements, and service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support Client Executives with placement strategy for renewals and mid-term changes.
• Review and interpret underwriting information for commercial clients.
• Prepare and submit market presentations and slips with the team.
• Negotiate renewal terms using Marsh systems.
• Prepare client reports for renewals.
• Comment on indemnity and insurance clauses.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for complex queries.
