Job summary

Brown & Brown Stockport is seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join the team in Stockport. You will manage claims from notification to settlement, coordinating with clients and insurers, and supporting with broader claims duties.

Qualifications

• Solid exposure to handling claims across Commercial Insurance for SME to Large Commercial.
• Able to liaise with insurers, loss adjusters and clients throughout the lifecycle of a claim.
• Cert CII qualified or working toward this qualification.

Responsibilities

• Handle all claims allocated, including file creation, chasing documents, and settlement negotiations.
• Produce statistics and reports for Directors/Account Executives/Handlers.
• Establish close links with clients, insurers, loss adjusters and engineers as required.
• Attend client meetings with Account Executives when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with FCA requirements and Company procedures.
