Job summary

Brown & Brown (Europe) Limited in Wigan is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to support growth. You will manage commercial risks for clients across industries, handle day-to-day MTA's, renewals, and assist Account Executives with new business prep.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of cross-class commercial insurance broking experience, strong knowledge of markets, and familiarity with Acturis. Negotiable salary plus benefits and Holiday/Pension are on offer.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years commercial insurance broking experience.
• Confident handling quotation enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance markets, products and wordings.
• Experience with Acturis is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Broking/handling commercial insurances (new business, mid-term adjustment and renewals) to the market and preparing comprehensive, high quality business submission documents.
• Work with Account Executives/Directors to achieve new business and renewal targets through proactive administration and customer support.
• Secure and arrange appropriate/competitive cover at renewal and complete all relevant documentation.
• Support Account Executives/Directors through management of their prospect pipeline and profiling prospects.
• Prepare Renewal Review reports including current claims experience.
• Handle incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain an efficient diary system including age debtors lists, account queries, chasing documentation and renewal terms.
