Job summary

Howden is looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join the Consumer & Local Commercial team in the UK. You will build rapport with clients ranging from sole traders to MD/CEO level and work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

You will review client documentation for accuracy, support quoting processes, assist account executives in renewal retention, and ensure compliance with FCA requirements. Hybrid working options and broad benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates high attention to detail to review client documentation for accuracy.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supports Commercial Account Executives to achieve renewal retention and FCA compliance.
• Willingness to learn and progress professional qualifications.
• Capable of processing data promptly on relevant systems for service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with new and existing clients across a range of sizes.
• Assist the Branch Manager and Commercial Account Executives to meet objectives.
• Support renewal retention and exceed client expectations while following FCA requirements.
• Process client data accurately on internal systems to enable informed analysis.
• Contribute to a high standard of client service and process execution.
