A leading defense company in the UK is looking for a Combat Systems Installation & Commissioning Engineer at their Scotstoun location. This role involves maintaining partnerships with diverse stakeholders, supporting equipment installation on ships, and conducting various tests and trials. Salary: Circa £ 45,000 (dependant on skills and experience)
Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution.
Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation.
Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the correctly defined installation and Commissioning of the T26 Shared Infrastructure and associated hardware. The role will ensure that the installed equipment is safe, compliant and fit for use IAW with the agreed design documentation. The role will be expected to liaise with Operations, Planning, CS Physical Integration and CS Co-ordination to align for a smooth transition from stores to ship.
