Job summary

New City College is seeking an Assistive Technology Coordinator to lead a three-year project enhancing assistive technology across the college group. You will research emerging technologies, implement solutions, and collaborate with curriculum and support teams to embed AT into teaching and learning.

You will develop and deliver training for staff and learners, monitor milestones, and report progress to stakeholders while championing inclusion, equality, diversity and safeguarding within a large

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND and using assistive technology.
• Experience developing and delivering training programmes for staff and learners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead a college-wide assistive technology project.
• Research and evaluate current and emerging assistive technologies.
• Recommend innovative solutions to improve learner experience.
• Embed assistive technology into teaching and learning with curriculum teams.
• Develop accessible training resources and deliver engaging training sessions.
• Monitor progress, maintain records and report to stakeholders.
• Champion inclusive education and safeguarding commitments.
