Job summary

New City College in the United Kingdom seeks an Assistive Technology Coordinator to lead a three-year college-wide project enhancing the use of assistive technology across the group.

You will research emerging technologies, embed them into teaching and learning, and develop staff and learner training while monitoring progress and reporting to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of assistive technology and its application in education.
• Experience developing and delivering training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a college-wide assistive technology project.
• Research and evaluate current and emerging assistive technologies.
• Recommend innovative solutions that improve learner experience and outcomes.
• Embed assistive technology into curriculum and learning support practices.
• Develop accessible training resources and deliver training sessions to staff and learners.
• Monitor project progress, maintain records, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Champion inclusive education and support the College's equality and safeguarding commitments.
