Job summary

Tudor Grange Samworth Academy in Leicester is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant to help students overcome barriers to learning and to promote an inclusive ethos.

You will work within the Mentor Team, monitor welfare, contribute to support plans, liaise with staff and parents, and ensure safeguarding commitments including a DBS check. 37 hours/week over 39 weeks, with term-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Pastoral support or student welfare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong pastoral support to students to help them feel safe and valued.
• Monitor student progress and welfare, contribute to individual support plans.
