Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is seeking a Wellbeing & Pastoral Mentor to join the Safeguarding Team. The role (12 hours, 39 weeks, term time) focuses on wellbeing, welfare and academic support for students, building trusted relationships to help them thrive.

You will work with the Head of Safeguarding & Student Wellbeing, curriculum teams and external agencies to promote inclusion, attendance and student safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral care, mentoring, wellbeing, safeguarding or welfare support.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students and external agencies.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students, providing tailored wellbeing and pastoral support.
• Build positive relationships to empower students to overcome challenges.
• Collaborate with Head of Safeguarding & Student Wellbeing, curriculum teams and external partners.
• Support students to improve health, wellbeing, attendance and retention.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, inclusion and the Prevent Duty across the college.
