Job summary

Equans is seeking a Collections & Disputes Team Leader to join the Order to Cash team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week) in our new Shared Services office.

You will lead a team of credit controllers, manage disputes and ensure timely collections while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in Accounts Receivable/Order to Cash and strong SAP knowledge, with excellent communication and mentoring

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Order to Cash.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels.
• Ability to coach and mentor individuals and manage a small team.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of receivables processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and mentor a team of credit controllers.
• Protect the financial risk to Equans across the sales ledger.
• Report monthly performance in line with KPI’s and SLA’s.
• Identify opportunities to improve aged debt and dispute reasons.
• Support mid-month and month-end close processes and audits.
