Anderson Knight is recruiting a Collections Advisor in Glasgow to support customers with payment arrangements, leveraging strong communication and empathy. The role blends in-person and hybrid working after training, with a salary of £26,000 and a 35-hour week.

Applicants with collections or financial services experience are beneficial, but a solid customer service background and a genuine desire to help customers will also be considered. Flexibility for 1 in 4 weekends is noted.

• Contact customers who have fallen behind with payments, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally, respectfully, and in line with company procedures.
• Manage both inbound and outbound calls to gain an understanding of customers’ circumstances and agree appropriate repayment arrangements.
• Conduct income and expenditure assessments to identify affordable and sustainable solutions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer conversations, agreements, and actions taken.
• Achieve individual and team performance objectives while delivering positive outcomes for customers.

Anderson Knight is recruiting a Collections Advisor on behalf of a respected and established organisation. This opportunity would suit an individual with excellent communication skills who is confident engaging with customers, enjoys finding practical solutions, and can navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.

While previous collections or financial services experience would be advantageous, applicants with a strong customer service background and a genuine desire to help customers will also be considered.

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid working available following training and probation)

Salary: £26,000

Hours: 35 hours per week

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm (3 weeks) and 12:00pm – 8:00pm (1 week)

Rotational shift pattern

1 in 4 weekend cover (day off in lieu provided)
