Job summary

Espresso Solutions is looking for a hands-on Field Based Business Development Manager to drive growth across UK hospitality. You will own and grow relationships with coffee shops, hotels and chains, visiting customers and nurturing accounts while building a robust sales pipeline.

You’ll identify opportunities, prepare quotations, and work with engineers to provide technical and commercial support, all while aiming to exceed targets and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven background in the coffee industry, ideally in sales or technical sales.
• Technical knowledge of coffee machines, grinders, parts and water treatment.
• Confident, consultative sales style with relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Comfort using CRM systems and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts across sizes.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities UK-wide.
• Build long-term relationships with owners, operators and engineers.
• Prepare accurate quotations and proposals for machines, parts and water treatment.
• Meet/exceed sales targets with autonomy over diary and territory.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback to strategy.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of equipment and parts.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver technical and commercial support.
• Plan weekly schedule of face-to-face visits and events.
• Represent Espresso Solutions at industry events and shows.
